*Yuletide: Performing Arts Students Electrify UNIDEL*


The Performing Arts Students of University of Delta Agbor on Monday, 18th December 2023 entertained the University community to a drama titled, "Pepper Soup" as a prelude to the Christmas celebrations.
Staff and Students gathered at the 1000 Capacity Hall to watch with excitement and delight as the students displayed their talents.
In a separate interview with the UNIDEL press after the event, staff and students commended the excellent performance of the students.
They maintained that UNIDEL has already started parading future actors and actresses who would do well in the movie industry.
The epoch-making event had in attendance the Vice Chancellor of the institution Prof (Mrs Stella Chiemeke, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu and the University Librarian Dr Mrs Vera Okonoko.
The Deans of Arts Dr Mrs Caroline Ohen and Education, Prof Regina Arisi, Heads of Department and Directors were also present.
In a vote of thanks, the head department of Performing Arts, Dr Kingsley Anyira thanked the Vice Chancellor Prof (Mrs). Stella Chiemeke for giving the department the necessary support and assistance to have a successful event.
The highpoint of the event was the presentation of Christmas Caps by the Performing Arts Department to the VC, Registrar, Bursar and the Dean of Arts.
