UNIDEL VC URGES DHQ-VEDC GRADUANDS TO BE CREATIVE

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Delta, Agbor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke has charged the 150 graduands of the Vocational Education Development Centre to be hardworking and make judicious use of the Starter Packs presented to them by the proprietors of the Institute, the Nigeria Defence Head Quarters (DHQ), Abuja. Prof. Chiemeke gave the charge on Thursday, 8th June 2023, during the Empowerment Programme, at which starter packs were presented to the graduands of the Centre at Agbor.
The VC, who was a Special Guest at the event, said the importance of entrepreneurship and skill acquisition cannot be over-emphasized.
She urged the graduands to be creative and passionate about what they were taught during the training. She also advised them to move with the trend in the business world. She commended the Chief of Defense Staff( CDS), Gen. Lucky Irabor, who was represented at the event by Rear Admiral Adeseye Ayobanjo, for establishing the Centre and sponsoring the programme, which will significantly reduce unemployment in Delta State, especially in lka Land.
