*UNIDEL VC Unveils Mass Communication Department Newspaper*
The Vice Chancellor of University of Delta Agbor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke has unveiled a newspaper by Mass Communication Students.
The Vice Chancellor who was represented by her Deputy, Prof. ( Mrs.) Patricia Mbah congratulated the students on the successful production of the 36 page newspaper, titled, 'UNIDEL VOICE', which is rich in content.
She charged them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical ways, think creatively and develop innovative story telling skills.
She posited that the essence of being practically sound was to enable them get well equiped after graduation and succeed in the ever-evolving media landscape.
The Dean of the Faculty of Social Science, Prof. Ben Nwanne thanked the Vice Chancellor for providing the necessary support that led to the success of the publication of the newspaper.
On what gave him the motivation to publish the newspaper, the Professor of Mass Communication said it was based on the urgent need to meet the NUC's standard for accreditation as well as his love for professionalism.
He advised the Mass Communication Students to be hard Working, Dedicated and Committed to Academic Endeavors.
