*UNlDEL PRAYS, VC Commends Staff for Dedication, Commitment*


Staff of University of Delta Agbor have been commended for their commitment and dedication to duty.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Stella Chiemeke gave the commendation during the August edition of UNIDEL Prays.
Prof Chiemeke said she was impressed by the commitment, contributions and co-operation of the Deans, Hods, Directors as well as staff in the second semester examination which would end on Friday, August 2, 2024.
She enjoined them to remain focused and steadfast as the growth and development of the institution remains a collective effort.
Speaking on the theme “Commitment to God moves His People forward” Rev Cannon Celestine Obiaigwe pointed out that commitment to God is remaining resolute in keeping to his commandments and doing the right thing.
He stated that no matter the situation or challenge, christains must not shift ground as God alone, gives perfect peace to those who are firm and steadfast.
Making reference to the book of lst Corinthians 15: 58, the clergy admonished everyone to keep serving God as their labour, would not be in vain as far as God was concerned.
In a vote of thanks, the Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi commended staff and students for attending the program despite the nationwide protest. He enjoined everyone to keep looking up to God for perfect peace and growth in all ramifications.
The UNIDEL Prays which is a monthly event also featured praises and worship as well as intercessory prayers.
