UNIDEL ls Ready for SUG Election- Azani


Ahead of the first Students Union Government (SUG) election in University of Delta Agbor, the Dean of Students Advisory Services and the chairman of the electoral committee, Mr Azani Nwabukwu has disclosed that all necessary arrangements have been concluded for the exercise.
Mr Nwabukwu made the disclosure during a meeting with Unidel Management and Student Representatives on the forthcoming election at the Council Chamber.
He noted that the election which would be online will be held on Saturday between 8am and 2pm. He added that each contestant will have an agent to monitor the electoral process.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof Stella Chiemeke, has appealed to the students and those vying for different positions to comport themselves before, during, and after the election.
She urged them to display the spirit of sportsmanship by accepting the outcome of the results.
Those who attended the meeting were the Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof Patricia Mbah, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr. Sunny Ikeogwu and the Librarian Dr (Mrs) Vera Okonoko Others included members of the electoral committee, students representing various faculties, and the director of lCT, Dr Bridget Malosowe.
