Tetfund Boosts lnfrastructural Development ln UNlDEL
Beside the joy and excitement associated with work resumption for a new week, UNIDEL Management was greeted with a cheering news by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund(Tetfund).
To boost the infrastructural development in the institution, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke on Monday, 20th November, 2023 handed over a site to Joseph Afe Partners Company for the construction of some buildings.
The site which is situated at the main campus, beside the Faculty of Computing, is one of the 2023 Annual Tetfund lntervenions which is for the construction and furnishing of academic offices and class rooms.
Prof. Chiemeke while reading out specified guidelines to the company urged them to use quality and standard materials, provide project sign board, seek approval for stages of work and work within the stipulated time frame of 36 months.
The representative of the company Dr Otaru Omokhagbo while signing the necessary documents with UNIDEL Director of Works, Engr Evans Ogwu said his company will do its best to ensure that the project was executed within the stipulated time.
Other members of staff who witnessed the handing over of the site to the company were the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu and the University Librarian Dr (Mrs) Vera Okonoko. Others are the Procurement Officer Mr Zaibe Christian, the Chief lnternal Auditor Dr Ozuem Clement and the Tetfund Tesk Officer Dr Iyamah Yankson.
