*Prof. Macdonald Idu Charges Nigerian Students To Be Proud Of Their Discipline*
The
former Vice Chancellor of Benson Idahosa University, B.I.U, Prof.
Macdonald ldu has charged Nigerian students in tertiary institution to
take their studies seriously and be proud of their course of study.
Prof.
Idu gave the charge when he paid a courtesy call on the Management of
University of Delta Agbor as a build up to the maiden career talk series
being organized by Department of Biological Science, UNIDEL.
He said it has been imperative for students especially students of UNIDEL to see their discipline as a choice well made.
He noted that all courses in the Institution of learning were important and lucrative.
Responding,
the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, thanked Prof. Idu for
accepting to be a guest speaker for the career talk despite his tight
schedules.
Prof. Chiemeke described Prof. Idu as a great mentor and a source of inspiration and a father to all.
She said that with his vast academic experience, the career talk will witness huge success.
Also
at the Vice Chancellor's office to receive Prof. Idu were the Deputy
Vice Chancellor Prof. Patricia Mbah, the Registrar Barrister Richmond
Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr. Sunny Ikeogwu and the Librarian Dr. Mrs Vera
Okonoko.
