We Will Produce World Best Actors/Actresses - Dr. Charles Agha.
The Head of Performing Arts Department, University of Delta Agbor, Dr. Charles Agha has stated that the next generation of best actors and actresses would be produced from the Institution.
Dr. Agha made the assertion during the orientation exercise organized for the year one Students of Performing Arts.
He pointed out that UNIDEL has a reputable department of Performing Arts that offers a comprehensive program designed to equip the students with practical skills to excel.
He noted that with the presence of the state-of-the-art facilities, together with seasoned and competent lecturers, the department will obviously produce graduates well- prepared for successful careers in the entertainment industry.
"Here in UNIDEL, this department covers diverse aspects of performing aspects, encourages research and enhance critical thinking and creativity".
He urged the year one students to work assiduously and make effective use of their time.
Among topics handled for the students consumption at the orientation included Campus/ Departmental Security, Dressing Code/ Rules and Regulations, Channels of Communication, Rehearsals in the Department, Admission, Registration, Care of the Equipments/instruments and Discipline and Attendance to Lectures.
The resource persons were Mr. Unoka A.E, Dr. ( Mrs.) Okunmbor D.l, Dr. Iyamah C.Y, Dr(Mrs.) Okafor J.E, Dr. ( Mrs.) Uche M.A, Mr. Ofosu O.O and Mrs. Iyama O.O.
