*Accreditation: NUC Tasks UNIDEL To Sustain High Standard*



As the accreditation exercise draws to a close, the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) has tasked the management of University of Delta Agbor to sustain the high standard set in the institution in order to attract more growth and development.

The chairman of NUC accreditation team, Prof.Babatunde Ayeleru, gave the advice on Thursday, 7th December, 2023, when his team paid a courtesy call on the management. 

Prof. Ayeleru, who is the Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria French Language Village, said he was overwhelmed by the presence of world-class learning and teaching materials in UNlDEL, which is one of the youngest universities in Nigeria.

The Academic Don urged the Vice Chancellor and her team to have a serious maintenance culture adding that NUC visit to UNIDEL was to meticulously look at the learning facilities in the departments of English and Literary Studies, French and Music and give advice where necessary. 
 
In her welcome address, the Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, commended the NUC for its commitment and contributions towards the development of Nigerian universities, especially in UNIDEL. She assured the NUC officials of a  successful accreditation exercise as the Dean of Arts and heads of department concerned were fully prepared.
