Governor Oborevwori lnspects Projects ln UNIDEL,Set Date For Commissioning

The Governor of Delta State,Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has expressed satisfaction at the execution of projects at the Faculties of Environmental sciences and Engineering at the Owa Alero Campus of the  University of Delta Agbor.

The Governor who was accompanied by top government officials said he was eager to commission the projects  as soon as the work was completed.

The consultant in charge of the projects Architect Imafidon Raymond conducted the governor round the two faculties.  At the Faculty of Engineering,the governor said he was  impressed by the presence of world -class machines and engines. He also gave kudos to the management of UNIDEL for the availability of standard equipments in the engineering studios.

At the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, the governor was taken round lecture halls, studios and various halls.

Speaking after the inspection, Governor Sheriff stated that he was overwhelmed by the accelerated growth of the two faculties within two years of its existence.

While assuring the management of UNIDEL of his government support towards the development of the institution, Governor Oborevwori, urged the engineers in charge of the projects to expedite action.

 He disclosed that he would soon visit the Institution for commissioning and commended the Vice Chancellor for her commitment to the overall development of the institution.

 The  Governor was received on the inspection visit by the Vice Chancellor Prof Stella Chiemeke,the Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi and the Bursar Pastor Sunny Ikeogwu. Others were the Deans ,Heads of department and a host of others.
