Faculty Of Science Holds Orientation Exercise, Presents Awards To 12 Best Students.

Faculty of Science has held orientation exercise for the newly admitted students for 2024/2025 academic session.

In his opening speech, the Dean of the faculty, Dr. O.C Molua congratulated the students on choosing University of Delta Agbor.

He enjoined them to study seriously, in order to have exciting academic journey.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke who was represented by the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU , Mr. Desmond Ekokotu, asked the students to develop time management, team work and communication skills.

The students were given lectures on Attendance and Conduct, Ethics, Dress Code, Healthy Studentship: Building a Foundation for Academic Success, Cultism and Drug Abuse and War Against Indiscipline/ Award.

The exercise provided an avenue for question and answer session which gave the students opportunity to clarify some issues arising from their lectures.

The resource persons were comrade Azani Nwabuku, Rev.Fr. Alex Okondu-Ugba, ms. Okeoghene Ohoriemu, Dr. A.O Ukpene, Mr. Best Ugala and Dr. O.C. Molua.

The chairman of the orientation committee, Dr.( Mrs.) Ewoma Oduma thanked the students for the massive turnouts. She also, commended the staff in the faculty for their contributions and commitment towards the success of the exercise.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of awards to deserving students who are currently in year two and year three as well as the final year.
