*Faculty Of Computing Holds Orientation Exercise*


The Faculty of Computing, University of Delta Agbor, on Wednesday, 31st January,2024, held the 2023/2024 session orientation exercise for the newly admitted students.
Declaring the exercise opened, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr Okpako Ejaita, said the exercise was meant to get the students acquainted with rules and regulations guiding their stay in UNIDEL and advised the students to take their studies seriously and shun unethical behaviours.
Four resource persons drawn from the faculty gave lectures on different topics.
Dr Fidelis Aghware tutored the students on continuous assessment, which he said will be based on attendance, regular test, project and weekly tests.
Dr Aghware also touched on the aspects of examination malpractice and its penalties while Andy Emuobonuve gave his presentation on the academic life of students.
He noted that students have academic freedom while on campus and enjoined them to manage their time well and abide by the set of rules governing the institution.
Mrs. Ojie DV took the students on the dress code while the use of the physical and e- library was handled by Okoh Lucky.
The students who spoke to UNIDEL Media Team (UMT) after the exercise said they gained a lot and promised to adhere strictly to all the rules and regulations guiding the University.
