*We Are Overwhelmed By Your lecture, UNIDEL Students Tells Prof. Macdonald Idu*

Students of the Biological Sciences Department, Faculty of Science, University of Delta Agbor have expressed satisfaction with an insightful and impactful lecture delivered by the Guest Speaker, Prof. Macdonald Idu, at the Maiden Career Talk Series, held at the 1000 capacity Hall.

The students while speaking to the UNIDEL Media Team after the exercise said they learnt alot from the career talk and have seen the brighter side of being in the department.

They said they would double their commitment to leaning to enable them make good grades.

Prof. Idu while delivering his lecture highlighted and explored the vast career prospects in the department presenting their relevance to national development as well as self reliance.

He also pointed out the opportunities that the students stand to gain after graduation as well as their impact on national growth.

He also disclosed that biology spans diverse applications in environmental conservation, education, medical research and bioinformatics.

He noted that in Nigeria, biologists were crucial in diversity studies, wildlife conservation and contribute to policies for sustainable natural resource management.
