*Inspection Visits: UNIDEL VC Commends Staff, Students, Urges Deans to Work in Synergy*

In a bid to sustain high academic standard, moral and discipline in University of Delta Agbor, the Management Team visited the Owa Oyibu and Owa Alero Campuses on Monday, 29th January, 2024 to assess the level of teaching and learning.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, who led the team, was conducted around the two campuses by their respective deans, some Hods, and course advisers.
At Owa Oyibu Campus, the Vice Chancellor urged the Deans of Faculties of Law, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences to work in synergy in order to have a seamless lecture devoid of clashes or overcrowding. She said there was a need to have a proper timetable planning that would be suitable for all the students.
At some lecture halls visited at Owa Oyibu Campus, the Vice Chancellor was impressed by the teaching and learning, which was going on smoothly. She commended the students on their dress code and emphasized the need to sustain it and warned those yet to key into decent dressing to do so. Otherwise, they would face the University disciplinary committee.
At the Owa Alero Campus, the management team was taken around the Faculty of Engineering by the Dean, Prof Obiazi Adagbonyin.
Notable places visited there included the lecture halls, studios, and laboratories for practical training.
The Vice Chancellor was overwhelmed by the presence of world-class equipment seen in the fluid mechanics lab and the chemical lab, including the DNLA profiling machine.
At the medical centre, staff were on the ground attending to students.
Speaking to the UNIDEL Media Team (UMT) after the exercise, Prof. Chiemeke gave kudos to the principal officer, Prof. Mbah Patricia Etuna DVC, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu, and the University Librarian Dr (Mrs) Vera Okonoko for their commitment towards the growth of the institution. She also appreciated the Deans and appealed to them to remain focused and diligent.
