*Am Delighted With Your Performance, VC Tells Prof Nwanne.*
The Vice Chancellor, University of Delta Agbor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke has expressed satisfaction with the level of academic activities in the Faculty of Social Science, in the University.
Prof. Chiemeke who made the assertion during the orientation exercise organized by the Faculty for the year one students for 2024/2025 academic session also commended the Dean, Prof. Ben Nwanne for his outstanding contribution to the growth of the Faculty .
The Vice Chancellor attributed the rapid growth and development of the faculty to the hard work and dedication of the staff in the faculty under the headship of Prof. Nwanne.
"I am impressed by the progress made by the Faculty of Social Science especially Mass Communication. The Faculty has become a hub for academic excellence and cynosure of all eyes".
She also lauded the visible efforts of Dr. Chenube Olufunke for her selfless contributions in developing the department of Psychology.
Prof. Chiemeke congratulated the new students and charged them to remain focused and target high grades in order to graduate with excellent results.
Three topics were exhaustively discussed by three resource persons, Prof. Ben Nwanne, Rev. Jude Ezenwa and LT. Col. I. O Olugbuyi who was represented by Dr. Godspower.
Hight point of the orientation exercise was the presentation of awards to outstanding students from the faculty who scored the highest CGPA.
The students were Ayeoritse Favour Okoturo 5.0, Faith Chisimdi Udum 5.0, Sheila Osamudiame Blessby 4.78 and Stephanie Nwabuafa 4.96.
