University of Delta Agbor, has commenced  the second batch  Digital Forensics  training for staff and students.

In a chat with the  UNIDEL Media Team, the Director of Part Time Studies Dr. (Mrs) Felicia Mormah and the Dean of Faculty of Computing, Dr. Ejaita Okpako emphasised the critical role of  digital forensics in the world.

They  enjoined staff and students to embrace the program as becoming cyber security professionals attracts  numerous benefits.

They said the program offers students  the ability to investigate cyber-crime, use appropriate techniques for data recovery, understand basic principles of computer Forensics, understand and use appropriate digital forensics tools as well as the implications of evidence found .

The program which is  for  six months include courses such as Basic Computing for Digital Forensics, Basic Data Communication for Network for Digital Forensics, Computer Crime and Digital Forensics, introduction to Digital Forensics, Building Forensics Laboratory, Scripting for Security and others .

The eligible participants for the program are law enforcement agents, legal practitioners, academics, experts, corporate bodies , government agencies, healthcare providers, bankers and a host of others.
