*Chartered Institute Of Bankers Seek Synergy With UNIDEL.*

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria ( ClBN) has pledged to collaborate with University of Delta Agbor in areas of training and development of Staff.

The President of the Institute, Prof. Pius Deji Olanrewaju disclosed this when he led a delegation from CIBN for a courtesy visit to the management of the University.

Prof. Olanrewaju stated that CIBN has been actively engaging universities in Nigeria and over six African countries to promote synergy and excellence in the banking and finance industry.

He emphasised the importance of innovation, ethics and professionalism in the industry.

On mentorship programs, the CIBN President said students would be paired with experienced banking professionals for guidance and support.

Prof. Olanrewaju commended the University Management for the rapid growth of the institution within a short period of time.

Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke thanked the CIBN for promoting excellence, professionalism and intergrity in the banking and finance sector in Nigeria.

Prof. Chiemeke assured them of UNlDEL's support and co- operation.

Some members of the CIBN who accompanied Prof. Olanrewaju included, Charles Ojakovo, Sir Amechi Sylva, Scholastical Moemeke, Chinenye Onwuka and Joseph Okolie.

The Bursar of UNIDEL, Mr. Sunny Ikeogwu joined the Vice Chancellor to receive the team.
