*God ls interested ln Our Health- Pst J. Ehiwario*
Staff in the University of Delta Agbor have been charged to take regular care of their health in order to serve God better and perform maximally in their official assignments.
Pastor J. Ehiwario gave the charge during the September Edition of UNIDEL Prays, held on Monday 2nd September 2024, at the main campus of the University.
Making references to Jeremiah 30:17, Acts 10:38, Psalm 107, and Psalm 91:16, Pst Ehiwario noted that it is difficult to do well when one is sick.
He enumerated the causes of sickness to include sin, affliction from Satan, poor nutrition, and lack of rest, as well as worries and anxiety.
He therefore, charged staff to always adopt prayer and faith, regular medical check up, confession of sin, rest and relaxation in order to regain their health.
He also enjoined staff to trust and obey God's word at all times.
Earlier in her welcome remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, thanked the staff of the institution for their commitment and doggedness towards the success of the Post UTME and 2023/2024 academic session.
Prof. Chiemeke urged the staff to remain focused and steadfast as she wished them divine health and breakthrough in life.
The Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, on his part, cautioned staff against laziness and engagement in acts capable of attracting sanctions.
The September edition of UNIDEL Prays featured Praise and Worship, Exhortation and intercessory prayers which was conducted by Pst. Gajere Danjuma.
