**He wasn't Guilty but Died to Perfect Our Salvation - Pst Gajere**

Christians across the country have been charged to see the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a call to change and re-examine their spiritual lives.
Pastor Gajere Danjuma gave the charge during the April Edition of UNIDEL Prays held at the 1000 Sitting Capacity Hall on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Speaking on the theme" Unveiling the Power of His Resurrection" with bible references from Matthew 27: 50-54, Luke 24: 1-7 and John 14: 29, the clergyman urged Nigerians especially staff and students of University of Delta Agbor to identify with good things and shun all negative things.
While stressing the importance of Christ resurrection to man, Pastor Gajere said Jesus Christ was not guilty of any sin but died for the salvation of mankind.
According to him, Christ died on the cross in obedience to God's word, love for man, forgiveness for man, and to perfect our salvation.
He noted that Christ resurrection has elevated Christians from weakness to strength, glory to glory, and from poverty to prosperity.
He enjoined staff and students to learn to be humble, obedient, and to always forgive.
Earlier in her opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, commended staff for their commitments and contributions towards the growth of the institution.
She disclosed that the successes of the Founder's Day Celebration, 2023/2024 Matriculation and the first semester examination were the handwork of God and contributions of the staff. She, therefore urged them to remain focused, steadfast, and prayerful.
The Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, while giving a vote of thanks, commended the Intercessory Committee for keeping the program alive. He tasked staff to take their work seriously and avoid unethical behaviours such as laziness and absenteeism.
The UNIDEL Prays featured Praise and Worship, Exhortation, and Intercessory Prayers.
