Cultivate Personal Discipline - UNIDEL Registrar.
 
Staff in the University of Delta Agbor, have been charged to  increase  their level of productivity and cultivate personal discipline.

The Registrar of the  Institution  Barr. Richmond Omagbemi gave the charge during the November Edition of Staff Training for Administrative, Executive and Secretariat Cader held at the main campus.

He said it was sad that some staff are still living in the old way of handling administrative work, and added that the University frowns at indiscipline and indolence.

He enjoined staff to take their work seriously and respect all constituted authorities as well as their colleagues.

Barr. Omagbemi commended the Human Resource and Senate Units headed by Mrs. Esther Akporjivi and Mrs. Augustina Ogwun respectively for their excellent performance  which have been visible.

He also underscored the importance of the monthly training and urged staff to take it very serious as it was an avenue for learning and cross fertilization of ideas.

Earlier, the guest teacher Mr. Philip Igumbor gave an impactful lecture on "University Governing Council" A case study of University of Delta , Agbor.

He took a cursory look at the organizational structure of the Governing Council, it's composition, the functions of the National Universities Commission as well as issues concerning appointments, promotions and disciplinary actions.

The training provided  an avenue for question and answer session which were treated accordingly.
