* Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria Eulogies Prof. Patricia Mbah*
The Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria (HEPAN) has described the appointment of Prof. Patricia Mbah as the Pioneer Deputy Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL as a testimony of her hard work, commitment, and passion for the profession.
Prof. Meludu said the announcement of Prof. Mba, as the DVC, was not a surprise to them as she has been known for a high level of discipline, dedication to duty, and continuous quest for more knowledge.
" We are here today to celebrate our indefatigable member, a wonderful friendly lecturer who is consistently searching for current issues in her field."
" Prof. Mba impacted and built so many persons while working at various universities. Indeed, we are proud of her."
Dr( Mrs) lhensekhus Isoken , Dr( Mrs) Uju Ejinkeonye, Dr (Mrs) Juliana Azonuche and Dr (Mrs) Patricia Ajaegbunem, members of HEPAN in their separate tributes said Prof. Mba elevation is a true reflection of her quest for a better society, educational growth, and family development. They posited that her mentorship had transformed the lives of many academicians.
"She is very meticulous, passionate about her profession, and well grounded. To her, failure is not an option."
While praying to God to give her more wisdom and knowledge to pilot her affairs, the association commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, for finding her worthy to serve in that capacity.
Prof. Mba, who was overwhelmed by the visit of the HEPAN, said she would continue to support them for national and global visibility.
" It is my great pleasure and honor seeing you all today. Indeed, it's a memorable day. Despite the cost of fuel in the country, you deemed it fit to be here today. I appreciate you. "
Prof. Mba who is the immediate past president of Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria, immediate Past Vice President of African Region of international Federation for Home Economics (IFHE) charged the members of HEPAN to be focused, steadfast and always put smile on the face of people.
" Working in UNIDEL as the DVC has been a great experience. It's our pride and treasure. We are digitally concerned, and our work ethics is on the optimum level."
HEPAN comprises all Home Economics professionals and practitioners existing in Nigeria. The mission is to provide a forum for all Home Economists in Nigeria to develop and express the Home Economics concerns for individuals, families, and households at all levels and collaborate with lFHE in association with United Nations.
