*NUC Assures UNIDEL Of Accreditation Of More Programmes.*

The Nigerian Universities Commission, NUC, has assured the Management of University of Delta Agbor of the accreditation of more courses.

The NUC gave the assurance when the delegation visited the Institution for inspection and evaluation.

The team leader, Prof. Emmanuel Adewale Adedokun disclosed that they were in UNIDEL to assess and evaluate what was on ground in the Departments of Information Communication Technology and Computer Engineering.

Prof. Adewale said his team would be objective as they were not in the Institution for fault finding but peer review.

Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke thanked NUC for its contributions towards the growth and development of Nigerian Universities especially University of Delta Agbor which has experienced close to one hundred percent accreditation in recent times.

She informed the team that the UNIDEL had all the needed materials for the exercise.

Those who joined the Vice Chancellor to receive the NUC team included the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patricia Mbah, the Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr. Sunny Ikeogwu and the Librarian, Dr. Mrs Vera Okonoko.

Others were the Deans of Engineering, Prof. Obiazi Adagbonyin, Computing, Prof. Ejiata Okpako, Agriculture, Prof. Mrs. Helen Ajayi, Law, Prof. Okunmbor, Social Science, Prof. Ben Nwanne, Science, Dr.Collins Molua and the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Anthony Ukpene.
