*UNIDEL Receives Health Care Boost*


One of the fastest growing universities in Africa, University of Delta Agbor, is to have a detachment of the Red Cross Society in the institution.
This piece of cheering news was disclosed to the Management of UNIDEL by members of the Nigerian Red Cross, Agbor led by Mr M.C Agbamu, during a courtesy call on Monday 22nd April 2024
Mr Agbamu, while stating the mission statement, said one of the reasons for the establishment of the detachment was to provide humanitarian aid and support to people in need.
He noted that besides protecting life and health, the organization operates on principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, unity, voluntary service, and universality.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patricia Mbah, who received the delegation on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, commended them for deeming it fit to establish a red cross detachment in the institution.
She assured them that the management would look into their request and respond accordingly.
The delegation presented the document/ requirements for the setting up of the society in UNIDEL to the DVC.
Other members of the delegation were Nkwor Emmanuel Uche, Monye Onyemechi, Onwunsoegwu, and Eboma Bernard.
