*Faculty of Computing Organizes Industrial Training Report Seminar*

Faculty of Computing Organizes Industrial Training Report Seminar.
The Faculty of Computing has organized an Industrial Training Report Seminar for the 400 level students of the Faculty.
The seminar, which was delivered by individual students, centered on their experiences and achievements during the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).
Speaking to UNIDEL Media, the Dean, Faculty of Computing, Dr. Ejaita Okpako said the Industrial Training Report Seminar was organized in line with the University regulations to examine the students on what they  learnt during SIWES.
According to him "in view of fulfilling the Computing curriculum in the University, we try to make sure we send our students out to industries so that they can have a first-hand information and experience on how things are done in the outside world".
The Report Presentation Seminar has three groups of about fifty students each. Each group has a team of examiners headed by experienced academics such as Associate Prof. Fidelis Aghware, Dr. Richard Oveh and Dr. (Mrs) Bridget Malasowe for groups 1,2, and 3 respectively.
Dr Okpako remarked that the idea behind creating the different groups was to ensure speedy presentations and release of results, while stressing that the seminar was also to train the students on project writing, project defence, and public speech making.
A student participant, Ikechukwu Emmanuel Iheanyichukwu of the Department of computer Science said the seminar  offered him the opportunity to showcase his activities during his SIWES internship.
