Servicom Rates UNIDEL High, Pledges Partnership
As part of Delta State Government plans towards the realization of the " M.O.R.E Agenda", the Special Adviser to the Governor (Labour Relations and Servicom) on Monday, 20th May 2024 paid a monitoring visit to University of Delta Agbor.
He stated that Servicom was instituted in 2004 as a machinery to ensure effective public service delivery in Nigeria adding that some of its objectives included, providing quality service to the people, ensure good leadership and to deliver services that are timely, fair, honest, effective and transparent.
Hon. Funkekeme stressed that Servicom will partner with UNIDEL to ensure professionalism and excellent service delivery.
"We are proud to be in UNlDEL today. The ambiance is captivating and conducive for teaching, learning, and research. I can assure you that the light of UNIDEL will continue to shine."
"The pillars of service delivery is harmonious relationship, and it's on record that the institution is growing speedily because of the cordial working existing in the University.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke while responding to Hon. Funkekeme's speech congratulated him on his appointment as the senior adviser to the governor.
She said UNIDEL was on track and up to date on Servicom, ensuring that the institution will continue to key in into the "M.O.R.E Agenda" of the state government.
The visit provided an opportunity for an interactive session where staff made contributions and asked questions bothering faculties.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof Patricia Mbah, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu, and the Librarian Dr Mrs Vera Okonoko were in company of the Vice Chancellor to receive Rt Hon. Funkekeme and his team. Others were the deans, directors, and heads of department.
With the Servicom boss included Mrs Uche Onwusanya, Mr Gideon Onwudike, and Mr David Ogbonna.
