The Head, Languages Department , University of Delta Agbor,
Dr. Clement Chukwuka Idegwu has said that providing students with world-class education that combines theoretical foundations with practical application remains his top priority.
Dr. Idegwu who disclosed this during the orientation exercise for the newly admitted students of the department also congratulated the students on their successful admission.
He informed them that they had embarked on a fascinating academic journey that would equip them with knowledge, skills and expertise needed to succeed in the larger society.
He noted that the department parades professionals with passion for teaching and learning and urged them to attend classes regularly, participate in discussions and seek help when needed.
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Mrs. Caroline Ohen, charged the students to manage their time adequately and aspire to be the best.
Three resource persons from the department; Dr. Mike Ejiodu,
Dr. Wisdom Ezenwoali and Mr. Emmanuel Omembu gave the students insightful and impactful lectures needed for their moral and academic growth.
Dr. Friday Akporherhe answered questions presented by the students and advised them to focus on their studies and place less emphasis to social activities.
