While commending the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke for giving his department conducive atmosphere to discharge their duties effectively,
Mr lkeogwu said payment of staff salaries will remain regular and called on all staff to take their work seriously.
"We are blessed to have a Vice Chancellor who is an epitome of humility, brilliance, integrity and productivity,
She is very energetic and result oriented adding that in the past three years, UNIDEL has recorded massive infrastructural development."
"The future of UNIDEL is very bright. In the next five to ten years, the institution will be among the best ten in Nigeria and hopefully, among the best in the world".
On the state of the Nigeria economy, the Bursar called on the federal government to increase the salary of workers as the current salary can no longer be managed because of the cost of living which has grown outrageously.
He urged the government to appoint the right people to handle the ministry of finance in order to get the desired results.
He however, advised staff to do other legitimate work after the official working hours in UNIDEL as having one stream of income is not easy to overcome the economic hardship presently experienced in the country.
