Be Passionate About What You Do, UNlDEL VC Charges Staff, Students


Staff and Students of the University of Delta Agbor have been charged to show a high level of dedication and commitment in whatever they do in order to achieve meaningful result.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Stella Chiemeke gave the charge during the May Edition of UNIDEL Prays held on Thursday, 2nd May 2024, at the 1000 Capacity Hall.
Prof. Chiemeke expressed gratitude to God for all he has been doing for the institution in the past three years.
While urging everyone to remain focused, steadfast, and prayerful, she noted that UNIDEL was growing rapidly as a result of unity and co- operation among the staff.
She, therefore, tasked both staff and students to continue to key into the UNIDEL Prays program.
In an exhortation titled " One genuine encounter with God is worth more than a lifetime of struggles, the Guest preacher, Pastor Isaiah O.C from Ancient Days Revival Church, Agbor admonished everyone to live righteous life and avoid oppressing or intimidating people because of their positions or financial status.
Making reference to the story of the fishermen who shared fishes among themselves, the clergy urged Christians, especially staff of the institution, to cultivate the habit of giving adding that paying back with evil should be shunned as God instructed believers to forgive.
Pastor lsaiah appealed to staff and students to always remember why they were in UNIDEL and to always live a life worthy of emulation.
In a vote of thanks, the Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, commended the Intercessory Committee for keeping the program alive and enjoined staff to remain law abiding and take their work seriously.
The program also featured Praise and Worship and Intercessory prayers, which was anchored by Pastor John Oji.
