*Upgrade Your Skills, Mrs. Akpojuvie Charges Staff*

The Head of Establishment and Human Resources, University of Delta, Agbor, Mrs. Esther Akpojuvie has charged staff especially the non teaching to upgrade their skills to enable them adequately contribute to personal and institutional growth.
Mrs. Akpojuvie, a Senior Deputy Registrar , gave the charge while fielding questions from UNIDEL Media Team.

She said it has become pertinent for staff to regularly evaluate themselves for optimal productivity.

She stated that the University Management has been very magnanimous in building staff careers through sponsorship of conferences, seminars and workshops.

“ For a staff to upgrade and meet the present day realities, he or she has to improve leadership and communication skills by taking trainings seriously”.

“ Obviously the University has enhanced our lives. Therefore, we need to display that driving spirit and enthusiasm to achieve goals “.

She enjoined staff to take their jobs seriously and ask questions where necessary.

Mrs. Akpojuvie who is the chairman of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators ( ANUPA) UNlDEL Branch, said the association will continue to ensure that it’s members are exposed to the best administrative practices aimed at achieving the desired results.

On the welfare of staff, she lauded the efforts of the management team for giving priority attention to those who had health challenges.
