*Faculty Of Computing Holds Orientation, Inaugurates NACOS Executives. *

Faculty of Computing, University of Delta Agbor, has conducted orientation exercise for one hundred level students, 2024/2025 academic session.

The Dean of the faculty, Dr. Ejiata Okpako in his opening speech congratulated the students and charged them to develop essential skills and knowledge.

“ I welcome you to the Faculty of Computing. Here, we expect you to showcase your skills and be the best. Be ambassador of the faculty as you learn in moral, academic and character “.

Dr. Okpako while urging them to manage their time effectively and wisely, emphasized the importance of remembering their spiritual life by placing God first in whatever they do.

He noted that the importance of the orientation should not be taken for granted as it brings familiarization with faculty policies, understands rules , regulations, expectations, foster teamwork, understand the University culture, values as well as traditions.

Mr. Andy Emuobonuvie while delivering his lecture titled” Academic life in the Faculty of Computing “ took a cursory look at academic, social, personal and professional lives.

On living in UNIDEL with the fear of God, Rev. John Mordi cautioned the students against misplacement of priorities. He enjoined them to utilize their time purposefully.

Other resource persons, Dr. (Mrs) Sophia Mughele, Dr. Fidelis Aghware , Dr. ( Mrs) Deborah Ojie and Mr. Oge Okoh gave lectures on other key aspects useful to the students academic sojourn.

Meanwhile, the Faculty has inaugurated the National Association of Computer Students, NACOS Executives with a charge to perform creditably.

Those Inaugurated were the President, Nweke Favour, Vice President, Okonmah Raphael, Secretary, Amos Dominion and Director of Sports, Onwuka Oluchukwu. Others included Ifeanyi Success, Treasurer, Paul Priscilla, Assistant Secretary and Emmanuel Precious, Public Relations Officer( PRO).
