DTHA Committee On Education Visits UNIDEL,Pledges To Advance Academic Excellence 
Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Education has commended the Management and Governing Council of University of Delta Agbor for  maintaining high standards in the institution.
The chairman of the committee, Hon. Charles Emetulu gave the commendation during the oversight visit by members of the committee to UNIDEL on Friday, 3rd May, 2024.
Hon. Emetulu stated that the  visit was to enable members of the committee to have good knowledge of development and challenges in the institution.
" This visit was designed to enable us have a first hand information on the state of the University including it's academic programme as well as assertain projects executed through government intervention ,internally generated revenue and that of tetfund ".
Hon. Emetulu, who represents Ndokwa West constituency, enjoined the management of UNIDEL to continue to interface with relevant stakeholders with a view to achieving the best in the education sector.
He also noted that UNIDEL is the fastest growing university among the three universities established by the immediate past governor, Dr lfeanyi Arthur Okowa, in 2021. 
He lauded the Management of UNIDEL for always carrying the committee along in it's activities, especially on projects ,adding that the committee will give UNIDEL adequate assistance to enhance its growth and development.
Responding,the Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof Stella Chiemeke, thanked the committee for the visit and inspection of on- going projects. She posited that academic programmes have been running smoothly in the citadel of learning because of the state government's support. 
The committee inspected the College of Medicine, block of class rooms for Basic Medical Sciences, as well as Tetfund projects housing classrooms,seminar rooms, and staff offices. 
At the College of Medicine, the contractor handling the project disclosed that the project would be ready in December 2024.
The House Committee chairman was accompanied by his vice chairman,Hon. Benson Obire. Other members were Hon. Emmanuel Sinebe,  Hon. Matthew Omonade,  Hon. Dafe Chukudi and Hon. Marilyn Okowa-Daramola.
