UNlDEL Set To Host Library Conference.
University of Delta Agbor has put necessary arrangements in place to host the 32nd  Nigerian Library Association Conference on the theme: Redefining Librarianship: Leveraging Diversity, Mentorship And AI for Enhanced Service Delivery.
The University Librarian,    Dr( Mrs) Okonoko made the disclosure while speaking to UNIDEL Media.
Dr Okonoko stated that the Library Conference which begins on 27th November and ends on 29th November, 2024 would be held at Center of Excellence, University of Delta, Agbor.
 She added that the program would bring together librarians , academics and information professionals to share knowledge and innovation in library service, explore innovative library services and technologies as well as foster collaboration among librarians and academics.
She pointed out that that the yearly event would also assemble staff and students to educate them on  the relevance of the library and the need to bring back the reading culture.
 She disclosed that UNIDEL. was given the hosting  right because of the speedy and rapid growth of the institution.
She commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke for paying  priority attention to the Library especially the subscription of external data base and equipping every section of the library with materials for staff and students consumption.
