Professor Eric Chiedum Eboh is a distinguished scholar, researcher, public policy expert and university administrator with extensive experience in academia, research, policy development and international development.
A Professor of Agricultural Economics, he has held several senior academic, research and public-sector positions and has contributed to major development initiatives involving organisations including the World Bank, UNDP, UNEP, FAO, USAID and the European Union. His academic leadership and mentorship have contributed significantly to the development of scholars and researchers in Agricultural Economics and related fields.
Professor Eboh assumed office as the second Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delta, Agbor, on 28 April 2026. He leads the University’s transformation agenda through Project RAISE UNIDEL Higher, focused on Research and Innovation, Academic Excellence, ICT Optimisation, Staff Professional Development and Welfare, and a conducive Environment for staff, students and stakeholders.
His leadership is anchored in growth, sustainability, innovation and institutional excellence, with a commitment to positioning UNIDEL as a dynamic, globally connected centre of knowledge, research and transformative education.
